OCULAR COHERENCE TOMOGRAPHY
OCT (Ocular Coherence Tomography) is an integral tool in the management of your visual health and often leads to earlier diagnosis of ocular diseases. OCT scans are similar to an ultrasound and captures a 3D image of the layers and tissues that make up the retina. This is essential when managing eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
DIGITAL RETINAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Digital Retinal Photography takes a digital photo of the surface of the retina. Although not as detailed as an OCT, retinal imaging still provides the doctor with high-quality images of the retina that can be compared to previous images to determine if there have been any health changes to the retina.
